Gender stereotypes change outcomes: a systematic literature review

Purpose Even though researchers have discussed gender stereotype change, only a few studies specifically projected outcomes or consequences. Hence, the main purpose of this study is to examine impact change concerning different outcomes. Design/methodology/approach In achieving purpose, authors searched and reviewed current empirical knowledge on in Scopus EBSCOhost databases from 1970 2020. The entire process was conducted through systematic literature review methodology. article selection criteria were executed using PRISMA flowchart steps, 15 articles included for review. Findings findings reveal that research can be categorized mainly under themes “family children,” “marriage” “equality women's employment.” Research limitations/implications co-occurrence network visualization map reveals gaps existing literature. There may more possible relating realities, cross-cultural needed. Practical implications These provide some policymakers.
